About the event
Site-Centered Yoga sessions are led by yoga instructor Rebecca Plevin and facilitated by artist Teresa Flores. Bring your yoga mat or borrow one of ours for the session. All-levels of yoga practice, especially beginners, are welcome and modifications will be included. These sessions may not be the most physically challenging to advanced practitioners but will challenge the way you think about yoga and your practice. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes that stretch and a bring a bottle of water.
We'll meet on the lawn next to the basketball courts and the library. RSVP here for yourself and a guest. Walkups welcome too!
This event is open to all members of the Virginia Avenue Park neighborhood and members of the public wanting to learn more about Santa Monica and Los Angeles food culture and accessibility. It is part of the Experimental Quesadilla Lab, a social practice project by artist Teresa Flores and is funded by the City of Santa Monica's Art of Recovery Initiative.
